    Complications of Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery is sometimes necessary for treating eyelid disfiguring conditions. Common disorders are ptosis (droopy eyelids), entropion (inward turning of the eyelid), ectropion (outward turning of the eyelid) and eyelid growths. Consult an eye surgeon if you are suffering from one of these ailments.

Eyelid surgery is usually an outpatient surgical procedure. Risks of surgery are rare but can include bleeding and infection.
